This past week, I passed the huge milestone of completing all the hours & tasks to be recognized for my yoga therapy by the International Association of Yoga Therapists, 820 hours!
At the same time, I have the huge anticipation of starting my Masters of Clinical Counseling in just a few short weeks.
So what to do an what to think in between?

Yoga teaches aparigraha (non-attachment), santosha (contentment), & svadhyaya (introspection).
It's not easy, but we must work to remain present for what's happening now. Not needing to jump to the next thing, or ruminate over the ending of another. Turning to spiraling, time-traveling thoughts..
Because our life is not just the milestones & the big things, but all the little moments, in-between.
The laughter and the jokes. The sunsets and the breeze on a warm day. The moments in traffic and the moments at the dinner table.
It's all these little things. Each and every day. That make up our lives.
Will you be there for them?

I know I'm trying.
And that's all we can do.
Try.
